About Ryan

Technology only works if people use it.

Ryan ReedyProjects + Managed Services · prpl pineapple

Ryan came to technology through a ten-year career as a product engineer, then took a step of faith into another ten-plus years of cross-cultural ministry. In both settings, he saw how technology can help people do their daily work and pursue their mission, or frustrate them when it’s poorly designed or poorly thought through. For several years now, he has focused on supporting organizations and the technology solutions they rely on.

At prpl pineapple, Ryan supports technology projects from the signed-off plan through launch and adoption, including custom apps, system migrations, and workflow automation. His focus is the people side of technology: how the person using it will experience the change. He leads testing, training, and go-live communication so clients end up with tools that truly support their work, and he backs up the help desk and managed services team.

Ryan believes serving well takes time: hearing people, understanding their role and what they’re trying to accomplish, then working toward it together. For him, success isn’t measured by how much gets done or how fast, but by whether the work truly serves the mission.
