Who Are We?These dichotomies aren’t just how we work—they’re who we are.
The Pineapple Story
First, the color purple is a blend of two polarizing parts, red and blue. Individually the two colors have connotations attached to them. Hot and cold. Passion and serenity. Aggression and peace. Love and trust. But when put together, red and blue create a new element – purple.
If you’ve ever met Jay and Kaylin, the seaming contrast of their personalities and skill sets very much reflect the contrast of red and blue. But together, they create the elements of purple – balance, harmony, thoughtfulness, grace, and ideation.
Just like the color purple is a fusion of opposite, ‘prpl’ is about trusting the mind to connect the dots. By leaving out the vowels, we’re making a statement: innovation doesn’t need to spell everything out. It’s about seeing potential where others see gaps, and using imagination to create something bold, balanced, and entirely unique.
Now – a pineapple, really? Yes, we know there are a lot of connotations tied to pineapples these days. But we chose a pineapple because it symbolizes hospitality, generosity, strength, and growth.
If you’ve ever taken time to look up, how a pineapple is grown, you may have been as surprised as us to learn that pineapples grow on a 1:1 ratio. First, the crown is cut off and planted in nutrient rich soil with the ideal temperature and precipitation conditions. Roots are established and after 18 to 24 months, a single pineapple emerges. This process is intentional and precise. It requires patience and commitment. Much like the work with our clients.
The experience and service we strive to provide every customer is symbolically represented in the visual brand we have created.
