I recently engaged the services of an outside agency to complete a new website. In the midst of the project, the agency dissolved, and communication slowed to a trickle. Deliverables were not  met, overall completion was woefully overdue, and I was at a loss on how to proceed. At the time, I remember fearing the investment was lost and I would have to start over.
